Sweet News & New Things

Fortunately, I was able to turn it into a flash sale and, with the support of my wonderful friends and followers, redeem the extra 6+ hours of work, spent mixing, baking, and packaging. Needless to say, I was exhausted after baking cookies for six hours straight and I’m very grateful for the extra income to offset some unplanned expenses this year. (I just replaced my HVAC unit and will be traveling a bit farther than normal for Christmas this year.)

I was bummed when my cookie conundrum took away from planned writing time, but, I am excited to say……

✨ Chapter Ten is Complete! ✨

As I knocked out chapter ten, I starting gaining the confidence to combat the imposter syndrome I was feeling—the who am I to write this thoughts and doubts. It made me re-believe there is power in my sharing my story and insights about bulimia, and honestly that I can actually finish this book. Lately, I’ve been feeling like the cliché person who keeps talking about writing a book for years and never actually finishes it. My reorganized chapter one and two nearly complete, and on average the other chapters are 50% complete. So, I am celebrating this step towards draft completion, which will hopefully still happen by my goal by September. Then I will be jumping into the editing process and new projects!
