Summer sure is moving right along and I have been spending as much time outside as possible. I have finally found the value in stillness and rest. Seeing that time as productive, and focusing on a “get it done list” rather than my never ending to-do list. There is always more I can do to grow my business, increase my social media presence, expand my painting collection, take care of my home, and the list goes on… Focusing on what needs to get done each day / week is helping me find a balance in active and inactive productivity. While it has been a fruitful few weeks, this time hasn’t been all sunshine and rainbows. I’ve experienced doubt in my goal to complete my first draft by the end of August and even felt moments of complete defeat. Thanks to prayers, encouragement from friends, and consistent time set aside to write, I’ve regained momentum, adding another 14,000 words and having a clearer vision for which chapters to complete next.
