Sweet News & New Things

I chopped my hair and quit my job.
Ok, that is a little dramatic…

If you aren’t on social media or missed my post, after a lot of prayer and thoughtful consideration, after turning in my two weeks notice, the last day of my part-time job was May 24th. There were a lot of factors in my decision, but the short version: it was time. Time to step out in faith and pursue what God is calling me to.

First, that means finishing my book. I have over 40,000 words written, though most of the chapters are incomplete and a lot of revision is needed. So, I am taking the next two to three months to finish the content, search for an agent, and explore next steps in self-publishing in case traditional publishing doesn’t become an option. Then, in the fall, I will be increasing my baking capacity, painting, and exploring some exciting opportunities — I can’t wait to share those with you, in time!

For now, I’m keeping my capacity the same as it has been over the past year. My current availability can be found on this calendar that I keep as up-to-date as possible :)

My schedule has been booking 4-6 weeks in advance. I may have some availability open up for July 15, and am happy to put you on a waitlist for that date in the interim.

Amazon Affiliate

Earlier this year I applied and was accepted as an Amazon Affiliate, which means I can make a small commission from your amazon purchases at no additional cost to you! (If you shop through one of my links.) What’s super cool, is the commission is not just on the product I recommend / the link you click.

Example: my friend purchased this Bissel Steam Mop through my link, along with a few other items in the same “shopping trip,” and I received a small commission on her entire purchase. Almost any item purchased in a “shopping trip” started through one of my affiliate links, can generate a commission. So, if you’re an amazon shopper and you think of it, consider starting your Amazon shopping through a link on my site. ;)

I hope you have a wonderful week and I can’t wait to share what is on the horizon for Sweet C in the coming months!

Sweet Regards,
